Shou Mountain Scenic Spot which was also called the Chai Mountain, Won Shou Mountain, Dog Beating or Drum Beating Mountain, and Shou Mountain or Chai Mountain is the most popular name. Lotus Pond, a clear artificial lake, is situated between Turtle Mountain and its north connecting to Panpingshan (Mt.), . There are willows planted along the pond, and pavilions standing on the lake. The museum is the largest educational institution in southern Taiwan. There are 18 exhibition halls divided into four groups: Scientific History, Information and Energy, Technology, and Commodities & Machinery.
